In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the results of application of a complex mineral phosphorus containing feed additive for young cattle feeding. There was established possibility and efficiency of using ammophos as a source of phosphorus in complex mineral phosphorus-containing feed additive, the application of which helped to increase steers productivity and to reduce the amount of fodder needed for live weight grain. Research results showed that for the increasing of efficiency of use of fodders and production of competitive beef it was proposed to balance the rations of young cattle with mineral substances by means of inclusion of into fodder diets at the rate of 3% of total mass of the complex mineral phosphor containing fodder additive containing the following elements: halite wastes – 50%; phosphogypsum 20%; dolomite powder – 15%; ammophos – 15%.
