In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the rabies situation of wild animals in the Belarus and methods of disease eradication. Research results showed that epizooty of rabies in Belarus had zoonotic, stationary character, with the expressed periodicity and seasonal prevalence. Maintenance of the steady centers of wild rabies were defined by representatives of canine family - foxes, raccoon dogs, wolves. Antiepizootic actions on control and treatment of natural rabies should be directed towards the regulation of wild carnivore number and carrying out of specific oral vaccine prevention. For rabies eradication from the natural center there should be realized annual double immunization of wild animals on the extensive hunting areas.
