Two-year field experiments using three cultivars (Delphin, Skarb and Atlant) were carried out in Belarus to compare the efficacy of 7 decision support systems (DSS) with routine fungicide treatmentfor the control of potato late blight (Phytophthora infestans). Compared with the routine control, all DSS programs resulted in a 31-77% reduction in application frequency. The prognosis for the first treatment, calculated by NegFry DSS proved to be delayed during both of the seasons, so, this model should be modified for its application in Belarusian conditions. Most of the DSS's resulted in similar yield and foliage blight level at the end of the season when compared to routine fungicide application. Differences in total yields between all fungicide schedules and untreated control were clearer on Skarb, then on Delphin, and were insignificant on resistant cultivar Atlant, which showed the lack of responsiveness to fungicide application.
