Chinese. 金星是以绿王子00-1-1-1-3-1-1为母本，小兰01-1-1-1-1为父本育成的西瓜一代杂交种。早熟，开花至果实成熟38 d左右。易坐果。果实椭圆形；果皮深绿色，上覆暗色条带，偶有黄点；单果质量3~4 kg。瓜瓤橘黄色，瓤质细脆，纤维少，中心可溶性固形物11% 以上。生长势和抗病性强，适合在山东、河北等华北地区日光温室及拱圆形大棚早春栽培。
Show more [+] Less [-]English. Jinxing is a new F1 hybrid watermelon bred by using Lvwangzi 00-1-1-1-3-1-1 as female parent and Xiaolan 01-1-1-1-1 as male parent. The variety sets fruit easily and fruit matures 38 days from flowering. The fruit is oblong with deep green skin and unobvious stripes，and yellow spots may develop occasionally. The average fruit size is 3-4 kg. The flesh is deep yellow with fine texture and little fibers. The center soluble solid content is above 11%. The plant is strong and resistant to diseases. The variety is suitable for production in greenhouse and plastic tunnel in North China such as Shandong and Hebei provinces.
