Chinese.

This experiment was carried out to study the effects of supplementing essential oils (EO) or enzymes(Enm) in diets on laying performance and intestinal microflora of broilers. A single factorial design was used in the experiment. Eight hundred AA male broilers at one-day age were divided into 5 groups at 8 replicates and each with 20 birds. Each group was allocated randomly to one of the five dietary treatments, basal diet (B)(Ⅰ), B+50 g・t. 1 EO (Ⅱ),B+100 g・t. 1 EO (Ⅲ), B+500 g avizyme and 100 g・t. 1 phytase(Ⅳ) and B + 500 g・t. 1 avizyme+100 g・t. 1 phytase+100 g・t. 1 EO (Ⅴ). Numbers of three bacteria species in excrete (Ex) , contents of ileum (IC) and cecum (CC) were measured in-test of 42 days. The showed thatthe numbers of E. coli in Ex , IC and CC were not decreased by adding EO; and the number of E. coli in only the Ex of 11 d decreased by adding Enm(P〈0.05). Identity of the effects added with EO or Enm on numbers of Campylobacter and Clostridium perfringens was not found. The VFAs levels of CC were not effected by adding of EO,Enm or EO+Enm.It is included that effects of adding EO on numbers of E. coli in excretes, contents of ileum and cecum were not occurred,as well VFAs levels in contents of cecum. There were not regular patterns on effects of adding EO on numbers of Campylobacter and Clostridium perfringens[著者文摘]
