Evaluation of agroforestry arrangements in cattle exploitations of the micro region "Bajo Magdalena" | Evaluación de arreglos agrosilvopastoriles en explotaciones ganaderas de la microrregión Bajo Magdalena

Los arreglos integrados de producción se proponen como una opción viable de producción desde la óptica ambiental, tecnológica y socioeconómica para encarar el deterioro de los recursos naturales, la pérdida de la capacidad productiva de los suelos y los bajos ingresos de los productores. Se evaluaron arreglos con especies agrícolas (fríjol y maíz), gramíneas forrajeras (Botriochloa pertusa y Panicum maximum) y leguminosas (Leucaena sp.), y ganadería de doble propósito bajo los siguientes tratamientos: monocultivo de B. pertusa; Leucaena sp., asociada con B. pertusa; Leucaena sp., asociada con P. maximum cv. Tanzania. Las características químicas, físicas y biológicas se determinaron en su orden por métodos de laboratorio y de campo. En la evaluación con Phaseolus vulgaris se utilizó en el primer semestre un diseño de parcelas divididas y en el segundo un diseño de bloques al azar con cuatro tratamientos y tres repeticiones por tratamiento. En el estudio con Zea mayz se realizaron dos evaluaciones utilizando un diseño de bloques al azar con cinco tratamientos y tres repeticiones por tratamiento. La producción de leche se evaluó según un diseño de sobrecambio. Se evidenció un efecto conservacionista de los suelos en los arreglos agrosilvopastoriles; se obtuvo un efecto de la variedad (p 0,05) del fríjol tipo arbustivo sobre el rendimiento. Existe una influencia de los cultivos sobre el incremento en altura de Leucaena sp. Se presentó un mejoramiento significativo (p 0,05) en la producción y composición láctea. The integrated arrangements of production areproposed as a viable option of production from the environmental, technological, social and economical points of view in order to face the degradation of the natural resources, the loss of the productive capacity of soils and the low incomes of the producers. Arrangements were evaluated with agricultural species (beans and corn), forage grasses (Botriochloa pertusa and Panicum maximum) and leguminous plants (Leucaena sp.), and dual purpose cattle under the following treatments: monoculture of B. pertusa; Leucaena sp. associated with B. pertusa; Leucaena sp. associated with P. maximum cv. Tanzania. The chemical, physical and biological characteristics were determined in their order using laboratory and field methodologies. In the study with Phaseolus vulgaris, a design of divided plots was used in the first semester, and in the second one, a randomized blocks design with four treatments and three repetitions per treatment. In the study with Zea mayz two evaluations were realized using a randomized blocks design with five treatments and three repetitions per treatment. The milk production was evaluated by an over-change design. A conservationist effect of the soils was show in the agroforestry arrangements; it was obtain an effect of the variety (p 0.05) of the typical shrubby beans over the yield. There is an influence of the cultures over the increase of height of Leucaena sp. It was show an significant increase (p 0.05) in the production and composition of the milk.
