VITALS ORGANS OF CRIOLLO AND CC21 PIGS FED WITH HIGH LEVES OF REST OF BANANA CROP MEAL | ORGANOS VITALES DE CERDOS CRIOLLOS Y CC21 ALIMENTADOS CON ALTOS NIVELES DE RESIDUOS DE PLATANO

Se analizaron los tractos digestivo, respiratorio y reproductivo y los órganos vitales de 21 cerdos machos enteros Criollo (CR) y CC21 alimentados con una dieta de miel B, soya y 30% de harina de residuos de plátano desde los 30 kg y sacrificados a 90 kg ó 105 días de ceba. Los datos se expresaron en g/kg de peso vivo. Los pesos de los hígados y riñones fueron superiores en los CR (P0.05), sucediendo lo contrario en el bazo, corazón, laringe y pulmones. No hubo diferencias en los pesos de la tráquea, esófago, páncreas y vesícula. El peso y el largo del aparato reproductor fue superior (P0.001) en los CR (1201 g y 122 cm) con respecto a los CC21 (830 g y 106 cm). Los pesos de los testículos también fueron superiores en los CR (249 vs 234 g/100 kg, no así el de los epididimos (65 vs 67 g/100 kg de peso vivo). No hubo diferencias en la longitud del estómago, ciego, intestino delgado e intestino grueso, sin embargo los pesos fueron superiores (P0.10 a 0.001) en los CC21 (medias de 188; 769; 2137 y 1911g/100 kg respectivamente) que en los Criollos (178; 682; 1756 y 1736 respectivamente). La grasa que cubre todos los órganos fue superior en los CR (2256 vs 1817g/100 kg, P0.01). La supuesta ventaja del Criollo en estar preparado para dietas de altos niveles de fibra no se evidencia de acuerdo a los resultados de este trabajo

English. Digestive, respiratory and reproductive tracts and vital organs of 21 Creole and CC21 entire males fed with a B molasses, soy bean meal and rest of banana crop meal from 31 to 90 kg live weight or 105 days of fattening period were analysed. Data were expressed in g/100 kg live weight. Weights of liver and kidneys were higher in Creole (P0.05), but CC21 had higher bazus, heart, laringes and lungs. There were no differences in weight of the trachea, esophagus and pancreas. Creole had the reproductive tract longer and larger (122 cm and 1201 g) (P0.001) than CC21 (106 cm and 830 g). Testis were higher in Creole (249 vs 234 g/kg LW) but epididimus were similar. Size of stomach, ciegus, and small and large intestine were similar, but weights were higher in Creole (between P0.1) and P0.001). Leaft fat was higher in Creole (P0.01) (2256 vs 1817g/100 kg LW). According to these results it is not true that Creole type has a better disposition to use diets with a high fiber content than CC21 pigs.
