La velocidad de colonización de Ch. paradoxa (de Seynes) Höhn sobre suelo fue determinada mediante el uso de secciones de fruta-bomba a inicio de maduración, tratadas con antibióticos y fungicidas colocados a 20 cm de profundidad y extraídos a las 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 18, 20 y 24 horas. El proceso de colonización ocurre a partir de las 2 horas, incrementándose notablemente en la medida en que el tiempo de exposición en el suelo es mayor.

The colonization velocity of Ch. paradoxa on bait in the soil by means of the use of papaw fruit section at the aut set of the maturity process, trated with antibiotic and fungicides was determined. The bait were placed on the soil at 20 cm of depth and periods of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 18, 20 and 24 hours them were extracted. Later they were carried to laboratory. The colonization process takes place at 2 hours it was larger when the time of exposition of the bait on the soil was increased.
