Influencia de un período de barbecho cubierto y del cultivo del maíz, como método de control del nematodo agallero en el cultivo del pimiento, variedad Español

En el umbráculo del Departamento de Sanidad Vegetal del ISCAB se realizó desde noviembre de 1983-abril de 1985 una serie de cultivos con barbecho con el objetivo de disminuir una densidad poblacional conocida como Meloidogyne incognita en suelo pardo con carbonato, en la variedad de pimiento Español. Se comprobó que la siembra de esta variedad en densidad de 85 l/bolsa logra, al finalizar la cosecha un índice de agallamiento de 4 grados según la escala de 5, en período de barbecho de 5 meses donde predominaron las familias Euphorbiaceae, Poaceae y Asteraceae, que en el cultivo del maíz a los 45 días el número de larvas encontradas en el sistema radical es insignificante y que la posterior siembra de la variedad de pimiento Español puede desarrollarse ya que no se afectan los parámetros del rendimiento tales como: número de frutos y ancho y largo de estos.

It was verified that the sowing of this variety in density of 85 l/bag obtained after harvesting agallement index of 4 degrees according to the scale of 5 in a fallow period of 5 months in which predominated the Euphorbiaceae, Poaceae and Asteraceae families.
