Estudio de ocho clones extranjeros de caña de azúcar (Saccharum spp. híbrido) en ciclos de doce meses

Se estudiaron 8 clones extranjeros (Islas Barbados) de caña de azúcar en suelos pardos con carbonatos, en un fondo provocativo a la enfermedad de la roya (Puccinia melanocephala) H. P. Sydow empleando la variedad B.43-62. La variedad testigo utilizada fue la Ja. 60-5. Se evaluaron un total de 47 indicadores morfológicos y agro-industriales, dentro de ellos: tallos molibles 7 no molibles/m lineal, longitud de tallos, longitud y diámetro de canutos, área foliar, por ciento Brix, por ciento poI, por ciento pureza, infestación a roya, bórer, áfidos y otros.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. This research was developed in the experimental station "Alvaro Barba" belonging to the Central University of Las Villas. The experience was carried out over an exciting bottom at the rust's disease (Puccinia melanocephala H. P. Sydow) employing the B 4362 variety and using as a check, the Ja. 60-5 comercial variety in a brown soil with carbonates. Forty-seven morphological and agroindustrial pointers were evaluated making the followings, the fundamental ones: molibles and no molibles stems per lineal meter, length of stems, total of nodes por stem, length and diameter of internodes, MI, Brix, pol, purity, stems weight per lineal meter the infestation index of rust, borer (Diatraea saccharalis, F.) and aphids (Shipha flava, F.) and others.
