Evaluación de los daños causados por el tizón o mancha púrpura (Alternaria porri E.) en dos variedades de cebolla (A. porri L.) y ajo puerro (Allium porrum L)

Spanish; Castilian. Se efectuó un ensayo para determinar el nivel de la enfermedad Tizón o mancha Púrpura sobre variedades de cebolla y ajo puerro, así como su susceptibilidad. Durante todo el ciclo del cultivo la variedad blanca se comportó más susceptible con relación a las demás, aunque estadísticamente no hubo diferencias significativas entre variedades. Se concluye planteando que es necesario trabajar con mayor número de variedades o utilizar un diseño en el cual el número de réplicas sea mayor.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. A test for determining purpura spot disease, afecting onion and leek varieties, was made; its susceptibility was also determined. During the whole culture process, white variety showed more susceptibility than the others, although statistically there were not significative differences among varieties. As conclusion we may say that it is necessary to work with a higher number of varieties or a design with a higher number of samples.
