INFORMATIZACIÓN DEL INVENTARIO FORESTAL (INVENFOR)

Spanish; Castilian. La aplicación de las herramientas informáticas en las actividades forestales ha cobrado auge en la actualidad. Muestra de ello son los inventarios forestales nacionales e internacionales de varias naciones. En este sentido Cuba debe utilizar los avances informáticos y ponerlos al servicio de la ordenación y gestión de montes arbolados para insertarse en el mercado forestal internacional. El objetivo de este trabajo radica en el diseño e implementación de un soft-ware, encargado de informatizar el procesamiento de la información que genera un inventario forestal. El sistema fue implementado con la herramienta de programación Delphi 6, empleado MS Access como gestor de base de datos, y el Computer Assisted Software Engineering, Rational Rose para crear los artefactos utilizados del lenguaje unificado de modelado con los que se caracterizó y modeló Invenfor, que es un sistema que permite procesar con mayor rapidez y eficiencia la información obtenida en el inventario forestal (diámetro medio, altura media y área basal) en función de estimar los parámetros dasométricos, de forma tal que tribute a una planificación del manejo forestal más eficiente. La aplicación de este software supone la disminución del tiempo de procesamiento de los datos y errores de cálculo.

The application of the computer hardware in the forest activities has received heyday in ourdays and sample of it they are the forest national and international inventories of several nations; in this sense Cuba must use the computer advances and put them to the service of the arrangement and management of mounts hoisted to be inserted on the forest international market. The target of this worktakes root in the design and implementation of software, entrusted of computerize the prosecution of the information that generates a Forest Inventory. The system was implemented by the tool of programming Delphi 6, using MS Access as agent of Database, and Computer Assisted Software Engineering, Rational Rose to create the used gadgetry of the Unified Language of Shaped with that one characterized and shaped INVENFOR. As result obtained INVENFOR, which is a system that allows to process with major rapidity and efficiency the information obtained in the Forest Inventory (mean height, mean diameter and basal area) according to estimating the forestry mensuration, of such form that it pays to aplanning of the most efficient forest management. The application of this software supposes the decrease of the time of work of the information and less errors of calculation.
