This study was to determine the best time of plowing and use phosphate fertilizer on yield, yeild components and rice weed poplulation. The field studies were conducted in rice research station on Tonekabon in 2006-2007 cropping season. The experimental design was split block with RCBD arrangment in three replications in which time use of phosphorus at two levels (100 Kg ha-1 super phosphat triple with plowing and with after harrowing) were considered as main plot and time of plowing treatments at four levels (plowing in November, January, March and May) as sub-plots. The result showed significant difference effects of years on number of unfilled grain, total grain, 100 seed weight, plant hight in 45 days after transplanting, stem weight, biological yield, harvest index, percentage of grain and P concentration in stubble and EC in 5% level. So, in the time of first plowing, there were significant difference on yield, available phosphorus and pH in 1 % level and in the time of phosphorus application no significant difference observed between each traits. However, the best treatment for obtain high yielding was interaction between plowing in January with use phosphorus with harvesting (before transplanting) with 8846 Kgha-1 and the lowest yield was effects of interactions between plowing in March with time of use phosphorus with plowing treatments with 7496 Kgha-1.
