Effect of bio-pesticides against mustard aphid Lipaphis erysimi (Kalt.)

Seeds of a commercial mustard variety were drilled in rows 45cm apart on well prepared seed bed during the second week of October, 2006. There were five treatments including a control each treatment was replicated four times. When pest reach on its ETL then Bio-pesticide was applied with the knapsack hand sprayer. After spry bio-pesticide pest were counted at 24, 48, 72 hours one and two weeks interval. After the harvesting of treated land (untreated) control plots were calculated in the shape of kg/ha to assess the efficacy of bio-pesticide reduction % age. It was observed that all the tested products reduced aphid population during 24, 48, 72 hours one and two weeks of their application.
