Forest ecozones represents a large area of the earth's surface where plants developed in relative isolation over long period of time and separated from one another by geological features, such as oceans, broad deserts or high mountain ranges that formed barriers to plant migration. Article describes forest ecozones of Punjab with regards to annul rainfall, mean annual temperature, physiography, soil and vegetation.
