The problem of the mutual contact in relation to vegetables and fruit occurs practically at each stage of production of the final product. The computational methods applied in practice most often stemming directly from the theory of elasticity and plasticity, do not give credible results, and they can outright make the source of errors. This is where the field of operation for approximate methods based upon advanced computational techniques is opening. Simultaneously the subtle measuring methods that have appeared foster carrying out credible verification of the results obtained as the result of analysis of numeric models
