Plant protection means applied in organic farms

Study includes data of 4908 organic farms controlled by Certification Body Ekogwarancja PTRE, which represents 32 percent of total number polish farms controlled in 2008. Biological plant protection products were used by 585 farms, which represents 12,2 percent of total number positively controlled farms. 19 plant protection products were used in explored farms. The most common products were copper based products and Bioczos BR. Among used products, 15 of them were registered in Poland (published on The Institute of Plant Protection list) and 4 of them were registered in European Union but not allowed in our country
