Carried out field experiment with maize variety Kosmo 230 and soybean Tara intercropping. Estimated the effect of weed control (mechanical and chemical) and sowing method (seed rate proportion) on dry matter yield and yield structure. Dry matter content in sole maize was near optimal for forage for silage -32%. Increasing soybean percentage in forage decreased dry matter content up to 25,9%. Maize in sole sowing with nitrogen fertilization gives highest dry matter yield - 12,7 t/ha, decreasing maize sowing proportion significantly conduced to yield decreasing up to 7,2 t/ha
