The trials were aimed at determining the effect of different sulphur fertilizers applied in spring upon the once of vegetation at a rate of 60 kg/ha (gypsum, potassium sulphate, ammonium sulphate and Wigor S) on total sulphur and sulphate, and mineral nitrogen content in the leaves. The highest values of the total sulphur were recorded for ammonium sulphate and potassium sulphate. Fertilisation with different sulphur fertilizers did not influence the chemical composition of the rapeseed meal, but it only affected the content of crude fat in seeds. The highest seed and rapeseed meal yield, compared to the control, was realised with ammonium sulphate
