Possibilities of GIS using for the optimalization of irrigation technology

The article is mentioned for possibility of GIS utilization as a medium to obtain economical utilization of natural resources. In the introduction characterise the geographical information system shortly and brings baseline information of his function. In the second, experimental part, introduce the practical example of his utilization as a medium for exact and effective irrigation in agriculture achieving. In the paper are introduced results of soil moisture content, too. The soil moisture was in the rate (18.21 – 25.75 %). The specified hydrolimit Zmin, which is used for irrigation regulation, had values 18.8 %, 20.2 % and 21.67 %. Measured values of moisture and of hydrolimits are used as support for variable irrigation rate application. The irrigation rate was ranged 0-30 mm.
