Evaluation of two herbal spices as feed additives for finisher broilers

Results of this study indicated that ginger and garlic supplementation at 0.25% level in broiler finisher diets enhanced the growth rate and feed conversion ratio of the birds. These supplements did not adversely influence the haematological, serum biochemistry and carcass characteristics of the birds. The results of this study suggest that ginger and garlic can be included in broiler finisher diets without adversely affecting their performance.
