The immunogenity of the experimental vaccine for 438 piglets that were immunized using the vaccine prepared from autochthnous isolates of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae was confirmed on the basis of the titer values of specific antibodies that ranged from 1:128. Piglets immunized using the vaccine containing a higher concentration of antigen than the autochthonous isolates of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae were determined to have higher antibody titers, from 1:64 and 1:128, and the occurrence of pleuropneumonia was not registered in any of the vaccinated animals.
