The new Filina cultivars is the first one established within the frame of the new breeding programme aimed at improving peach growing in Bulgaria. It was developed at the Fruit-Growing Institute in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in 1991 from the cross of July Lady x Maycrest, and it was named and released in 2008. The aim of present study was to perform pomological and economic evaluation of the newly developed peach cultivar Filina.
