Olive fly Bactrocera oleae is the most important olive pest in Montenegro. In our conditions there is a little data on biology, timing and agents for control of this pest. Flight dynamics of fly in agroecological conditions of Bar was comparatively monitored during years 2004, 2005 and 2006, using chromotropic and pheromone traps and fruit infestation. Optimization of timing for application of agents for olive fly control relays on pest monitoring by chromotropic and pheromone traps and implementation of two generally accepted models for olive fly infestation forecast. Models are based on computing values of indexes Z and Z1. Preparations from different chemical groups were applied: pyrethroids (Decis 2.5 EC), naturalites (Success, GF 120) and inorganic copper substances (Poltiglia disperss). Preparations were applied foliar, individually or with atractant (Buminal) in addition. In application of preparation with atractant, only a part of tree canopy was treated. Effects of preparation were determined every seven days until the harvest. Acquired data were analysed by statistical program ANOVA.
