A new taxon for the dendroflora of Serbia, Ulmus minor Mill. var. tortuosa (Host) Hayek is presented in this paper. It was found on the slopes of the Rogozna Mt. above the left riverbank of the river Ibar, at an approximate locality between the villages of Sočanica and Lešak, near the highway Kosovska Mitrovica - Kraljevo, in Kosmet. Its description and taxonomic status, its distribution in neighbouring countries and on the Balkans, as well as some ecological characteristics are considered in the text.
