Some of polydominant oak forest on Fruška gora are in critical condition because of Tilia sp. domination. Forty one species of longhorn beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) from Fruška gora mountain are feeding in stage larvae on oaks. Six of them are polyphagous, but preferring oaks. Three species are feeding on only few botanical species, and two species are monophagous on oaks. Among all Cerambyx cerdo Linnaeus, 1758 and Morimus funereus (Mulsant, 1863) are species noted on national and European and World Red Lists of Threatened Animals and Plants. As well as The Area Plan of Special Attention of Fruška gora until 2022 describes protection of autochtonous oak forest this number of 19% of Serbian cerambycid fauna should also get a special attention.
