Fruit quality in all fruit species depends on a number of properties. Fruit calibration defined by fruit diameter and weight plays a major role. Our research included leading fruit cultivars grown in the collection orchard of Fruit Research Institute, Cacak (Serbia). Fruits were collected in the phase of biological ripeness of trees and were adequately classified. The highest fruit weight and diameter were found in Cacanska Najbolja (64.1g and 44.7mm, respectively), whereas these values were the lowest in Cacanska Lepotica (29.5g and 35.8mm, respectively). Plum cvs. Cacanska Najbolja and Cacanska Rana dominate as top-quality cultivars in terms of fruit diameter (100% and 96.1%, respectively). As regards fruit weight, the highest performance was observed in Cacanska Najbolja (63.7%).
