Paper presents qualitative and quantitative parameters, which defines current peach production in Europe and Serbia. Structural circumstances of the current peach and nectarine market are analyzed separately for fresh consumption and industrial processed. Peach and nectarines varieties have been classified according to their maturation date, fruit quality and adaptability to climatic conditions. The top three peach and nectarine producers are China, EU and USA. Regarding fruit categories, production of fresh peach and nectarine fruits for fresh consumption is increasing canning peaches. The average price per kg is 0.4 to 0.6 EUR.
