Polyphagous pests of stone fruits | Polifagne štetočine koštičavih voćaka

Stone and apple fruits are damaged by large number of common pest. In this paper the most of important polyphagous fruit pest species were selected and showed in the table according to the parts of fruit tree where they feed. Cockchafer, Flat-headed woodborer and Metallic wood-boring beetle are the most important pest for roots and root neck of the trees, while for the wood and branches the Fruit bark beetle, Large fruit bark beetle, Broadleaved pinhole borer, Little long horn beetle, Goat moth and Leopard moth are important. Pests that are causing slow growth and wilt of branches and entire tree are European fruit brown scale, Woolly vine scale, San Jose scale, Mussel scale and White peach scale. Polyphagous pests of buds and leaves such as Plum tortrix moth, Leaf Weevils and Chafers can cause total defoliation in the forest and migrate to nearby or chards. Apple Blossom Beetles are feeding with flowers. Polyphagous pests of fruit are the epidermis fruit moth, fruit flies and wasps.
