Certain small mammals species, especially rodents and hares, in years with suitable ecological conditions could cause significant damages in orchards and there fore grater economic losses. In inhabited agroecosystems these species have both, positive and negative significance. From the aspect of plant production, the most important species are voles, certain mice species, mole rat and hare.
