Sunflower seed and oil production in the period from 2000 to 2006 was analyzed, with review on production conditions in 2006. Weather and climate conditions were poor at the beginning of the production, so the sowing was late. The economy conditions and results, as important as the production ones, were also analyzed. Sunflower and oil prices are also discussed.
