Seat belt is one of the operator restraint system used for securing the driver in motor vehicles. It prevents drivers being thrown out of the cab in an overturn or road accident, where the drivers are most likely to be killed or injured. Agricultural tractors fitted with a protective structure are often sold with pelvic restraint belts for operators. In Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Standard Codes (3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9), there is an optional test for determining the performance of seat belt anchorage for agricultural and forestry tractors. This paper gives some information about the optional test and tries to find a solution for the problem related to selection of the seat adjustments. Seats were loaded 6290 N and 6890 N, in these tests it was not happen any failure on the seats, anchorages and mounting parts.
