For clarification of a variation character for "high content of beta-carotene in fruits" determinant in Сapsicum annuum. var. annuum in connection with the genotype, the growing conditions and the interaction between the genes, controlling this determinant, and the genes, controlling the anthocyanins color of vegetative and generative organs the authors analyzed more 100 variants, relating to cultivars Grossum L. (Sendt), Longum D.C., Pomifera Fingerh и Fascicullatum Sturt, including the varieties and the hybrids, from own selection. It was shown, that the results of the beta-carotene content testing by the standard 8756.22 and by the high performance liquid chromatography method are correlated (r = 0.99), that is relatively comparable. The intensity of fruits color during the phase of technical ripeness exactly correlates with provitamin A content, however, the fruits color and provitamin A content during the phase of biological ripeness doesn't interrelated. To obtain the new initial pepper material with a complex of practical valuable determinants, including a high content of provitamin A, ascorbic acid and anthocyanins in fruits, the authors recommend to use the tame mutant forms of pepper of natural and artificial origin with A, Im and be genes

Для уточнения характера варьирования признака «высокое содержание бета-каротина в плодах» у Сapsicum. annuum. var. annuum в зависимости от генотипа, условий выращивания и взаимодействия контролирующих этот признак генов с генами антоциановой окраски вегетативных и генеративных органов в связи с селекцией на качество проанализировали более 100 образцов, относяящихся к сортотипам Grossum L. (Sendt), Longum D.C., Pomifera Fingerh и Fascicullatum, включая сорта и гибриды собственной селекции. Показано, что результаты определения количества бета-каротина по ГОСТ 8756.22 и методом высокоэффективной жидкостной хроматотографии коррелируют (r = 0,99), то есть относительно сопоставимы. Интенсивность окраски плодов в фазу технической спелости, как правило, прямо коррелирует с содержанием провитамина А в фазу биологической спелости, однако окраска плодов и содержание провитамина А, регистрируемые в фазу биологической спелости, не всегда взаимосвязаны. Для получения нового исходного матерриала перца с комплексом хозяйственно ценных признаков, включая высокое содержанием провитамина А, аскорбиновой кислоты и антоциана в плодах, рекомендуется использовать окультуренные мутантные формы перца естественного и искусственного происхождения с генами А, 1т и be
