Seviryl 85% WP is a new formulation of the broad-spectrum carbamate insecticide carbaryl; 1.Naphthyl (N-methylcarbamate). The acute oral LD50 (Rat) for carbaryl is 246 (female) and 283 mg/kg (male). Devizinon 60% EC is an organophosphorous insecticide formulation containing the active ingredient diazinon.Chemically diazinon is 0, 0- Diethyl 0- (2- isopropyl_4_methyl_6_ pyrimidinyl) phosphorodithioate. The efficacy of Seviryl 85% WP and Devizinon 60 %EC for the control of Jassid on eggplant were evaluated by Sampson A. Binyason (2007/08) in Rahad Research Station Farm. For safe use of the two formulations on eggplant, the residues of the insecticides were determined in this report and the safety period between last spray and harvest is established
