English. The purpose of this work is putting forward the effect of climate changes on the olive growing areas in Buyuk Menderes river basin. This work consists of two steps. In the first step, Mann-Kendall method of trend analysis was applied on series of some, many years old climate elements (January-February minimum, January-February average, May-June average, July-August average and July-August maximum temperatures and total annual precipitations) belonging to eight meteorology stations located in Buyuk Menderes river basin and by using those series, the forecastings of the climate elements for the future were realized through ARIMA method.
Show more [+] Less [-]Turkish. Bu çalışmanın amacı; iklim değişiminin Büyük Menderes Havzasında zeytin yetiştirme alanları üzerine etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma iki aşamadan oluşmaktadır. Birinci aşamada, Büyük Menderes Havzasında yer alan sekiz adet meteoroloji istasyonuna ait çok yıllık bazı iklim elemanı (Ocak-Şubat minimum, Ocak-Şubat ortalama, Mayıs-Haziran ortalama, Temmuz-Ağustos ortalama ve Temmuz- Ağustos maksimum sıcaklıklar ile yıllık toplam yağış) serilerinin Mann- Kendall yöntemiyle trend analizi yapılmış ve bu seriler kullanılarak ARIMA yöntemiyle iklim elemanlarının geleceğe yönelik tahminleri yapılmıştır.
