Studies of soils under the conditions of mountain-steppe zone have been conducted to find out the influence of relief on their fertility and yield. Given the indicators of soil fertility, the studies indicate that because of the slope at different altitudes it is necessary to use differentiated agricultural techniques, where soils with erosive dangers require the utilization of forest melioration activities.
