The following parameters of rotary potato harvesting machine are observed: speed of movement Va, km/h; number of fingers, step of the finger the length of the direction of moving forward between the point of crossing the finger and the point of crossing the next finger s, mm; rotation speed of the rotor n, min-1 are reciprocally dependant. Equation of dependency and chart of this connection are explained. Soil spread width B, mm changes the size of the probably buried potatoes h, mm according to the dept of digging H, mm. Different type of combinations of value of these parameters are given in the chart. Mathematical equation is drawn. You can easily decide what size of potatoes loose of burring with connection of depth of digging and width of soil spread.
