Checklist of Entomophaguses of the Scelionidae family Registered in Fruit-tree Plots of Agricultural University - Plovdiv

This is a presentation of fauna list containing 20 species of parasitic hymenoptera of the Scelioninae and Teleasinae subfamilies, registered in fruit-tree (apple) plots of Agricultural University – Plovdiv. The insects were collected with Malaise trap. The faunistic list includes 9 species of genus Gryon, 4 species of genus Teleas, 1 species of genus Xenomerus and 6 species of genus Trimorus. The entomophags of genus Gryon live parasitically in the eggs of some bugs and cicadas. The representatives of genus Teleas live parasitically in the eggs of ground beetle (Carabidae, Coleoptera). For each of the species we provide a complete list of the synonyms, give information about its biology (if available) and present distribution of entomophags in Europe and the Palearctic.
