Эффективность использования заменителя цельного молока 'Старт-4' в рационах телят

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were realized studies on the development of a recipe of a whole milk substitute for cattle diets and analyzed zootechnical and economic efficiency of its use. For the realization of the task there was developed a new national recipe of a whole milk substitute 'Start-4' designed for feeding of calves elder that 1 month old. The substitute was prepared on the basis of mixture of dry skimmed milk, dry milk whey, dry fat plant concentrates, feed vitamin and mineral supplements and heat-treated full-fat soya flour. Research results showed that application of the a whole milk substitute 'Start-4' rendered positive influence on feed palatability and made it possible to reduce use of whole milk up to 180 kg per one calf. Feeding with the substitute 'Start-4' did not render negative influence on animal health. It was determined that feeding with the whole milk replacer 'Start-4' made it possible to decrease prime cost of weight gain on 5% and proved to be economically efficient.
