In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of studying the herbicides Titus (rimsulfuron), 25% d.f.s. (50 g/ha + 0,2 l/ha SAS Trend 90) and Milagro (nicosulfuron, 40 g/l), SC (1,5 l/ha) influence on maize (Zea mays) weed infestation by post-emergent application. In case of application at stage of 3-5 leaves the preparations render an essential influence on grass and some species of dicotyledonous weed infestation decrease. In 2006 weedplant kill has made 86,8-90,6%, that gave an opportunity to preserve 383,8 and 558,5 cwt/ha of corn green mass. Against a herbicide background Agropyron repens infestation has decreased on 95,3-98,6%, rhizonme length was 2,68-4,96 m/square meter, or on 94,4-97,0% less than in the control without weeding. The aftereffect of the studied preparations on couch grass (Agropyron repens) in a year after their application revealed in lowering of quantity of their stalks in comparison with control on 92,7-93,3%.
