In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied application of herbicide Sencor, WDG (metribuzin, 700 g/kg) at the rate 0,4 kg/ha for vegetable field pea (Pisum arvense L.) protection of weeds (lamb's-quarters (Chenopodium album); corn mayweed (Matricaria inodora); marsh cudweed (Gnaphalium uliginosum); annual meadow grass (Poa annua); barnyard grass (Echinochloa crusgalli). Research results showed that pre-emergent application of herbicide Sencor, WDG provided weed plant number decrease for 72,8-89,1%, their vegetative weight - 81,9-86,3%. Application of the studied herbicide before sprouting made it possible to preserve the grain yield for 18,3-23,9 cwt/h by yield in the control without weeding 29,0-30,0 cwt/ha. As a result of the study it was recommended to use herbicide Sencor, WDG for field pea protection against annual dicotyledonous plants and cereal weeds in case of its application in dose 0,3-0,4 kg/ha before crop seedlings.
