In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied the genotype and agrotechnical elements influence on the development of Scelerotinia sclerotiorum in crops of 3 self-pollinated lines (SM- early ripening; SM and PS - middle-early) of sunflower (Helianthus annuus). Research results showed that incidence of Scelerotinia sclerotiorum substantially depended on weather conditions. In some years a delay in planting time, deep seed incorporation and thick-growing crops (about 70-80 thousand pcs/ha promote an essential sclerotiniose incidence increase (up to 6-18%). There was marked substantial influence of genotypes and agrotechnical methods on development of sclerotiniose. It is shown, that increasing doses of nitric fertilizing from 30 up to 90 kg/ha active substanceraised the sclerotiniosis incidence in self-pollinated lines in 1,7-2,9 times. In the conditions of mild development of S. sclerotiorum the incidence of sclerotiniose on the sensitive lines increased along with seedling crowding. In the conditions of severe development of sclerotiniose the planting density did not render substantial influence on incidence of the disease.
