The Western corn rootworm (Diabrotica virgifera virgifera Le Conte) is a dangerous maize (Zea mays) pest which has received a wide circulation on the territory of a lot of European countries. The pest centers incidence in the neighboring states creates a risk of penetration of this quarantine pest to the Republic of Belarus. In this connection there was a necessity of carrying out the Western corn rootworm monitoring by means of pheromone traps. In article the results of long-term pheromone monitoring of the Western corn rootworm Diabrotica virgifera virgifera Le Conte on the territory of Belarus are presented. There were presented results of monitoring of Western corn rootworm incidence in 2007-2009 stated by means of pheromone traps in different regions of Belarus.
