The data of results of fertilization in Belarus accumulated during 1986-2010 as well as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium balances were discussed in the paper. The comparison of fertility status changes (10-11 monitoring investigation) with regard to previous monitoring data was presented. The system of soil liming and phosphorus and potassium fertilization in 2006-2010 permit to support reached earlier soil acidity level and phosphorus and potassium content in arable soils. There were presented data on productive capacity of arable soils of the Republic of Belarus in 1986-2010. There was analyzed balance of nutritive elements, as well as dynamics of agrochemical indexes (manure, P2O5, K2Oand pH) arable layer of Belarus. Research results showed that applied in the Republic balance of phosphorous (44 kg/ha) and potassium (144 kg/ha) fertilizers with the positive balance of P2O5 (+26 kg/ha) and K2O (+54 kg/ha) made it possible to maintain the previously achieved content of phosphorous and potassium in soil during the increasing the indexes on 6 mg/kg. It was inefficient to apply organic fertilizers in dose 4,5-8,7 t/ha for the deficit-free humus balance in arable soils.
