In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of two-year studies of evaluation of the influence of use of increased doses of mineral nitrogen fertilizers in combination with intensification of plant protection (fungicidal treatment) against leaf and head diseases on the formation of high quality yield of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum) of Legenda variety. In course of the study there was marked influence of weather conditions on yield and grain quality of wheat of Legenda variety. Research results showed that indexes of grain vitreousness and bushel weight could not be very informative for the evaluation of influence of growing technologies on grain quality. This was concluded because the mentioned above indexes to a great extent depended on weather conditions at the stage of grain filling grain and maturation. Content of crude protein and weight percentage of gluten in grain of winter wheat increased up with the increasing of doses and frequency of nitrogen application. In proportion to intensification of plant protection system against diseases of leaf apparatus and head diseases, along with growth of crude gluten content, there was marked a tendency of lowering of quality according to the Gluten Deformation Index.
