In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were shown the results of research into the positive deviations according to the elements of productivity structure of winter soft wheat (Triticum aestivum) hybrids F2, F5 – F7. There was established the value of parental forms on the level of mother and father according to '+' deviations. It was examined, due to which parental forms (mother or father) a high level of hybrid productivity was determined. It was marked which chosen pairs produced selection result, and on the basis of which indicators one should separate the best families (lines) in F2 and in consecutive links of selection process. It was analyzed how the value of forms, chosen in F2, was maintained in generations F5 – F7. There was shown a list of parental forms valuable for selection. In course of the study there were shown rare combination elements with positive deviations of indexes by all elements of productivity in F2, F5-F7. There were showed the best wheat varieties revealed in mother and father forms according to the total number of positive deviations in links of selection process.
