In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized an assessment of perspective potato (Solanum tuberosum) breeding material obtained from wild potato species, primitive cultivated potato species and cultivated potato species S. andigenum for halm and tuber resistance to potato late blight (Phytophthora infestans), black stem (Erwinia carotovora) of tubers, occurrence of a masked virus infection, productivity, starch content, suitability for industrial processing to chips after 5 month storage without of reconditioning. Perspective hybrids recommended as sources of economically valuable traits in potato breeding were selected. Hybrids 20417-59 and 200170-10 were marked by high resistance to potato late blight and black stem of tubers, high starch content and suitability for industrial processing to chips. High complex resistance to potato blight and absence of a masked virus infection were typical for 200158-3 hybrid. Comparatively high and high resistance of leaves to late blight and high field resistance viruses was marked for the following hybrids: 2032-5, 20013-22, 203193-19, 20412-5, 20411-16, 205155-15, 205143-36. Hybrid samples 2032-5 and 20411-16 were marked by comparatively high resistance to black stem of tubers. Raised starch content was typical for 205155-15 and 205143-36 hybrids. Hybrid samples 2032-5, 20412-5 20417-59, 20411-16 205155-15, 205143-36 got 5-7 points out of 9 for chips after 5 month storage without of reconditioning.
