Over the last years in the scientific literature the discussed results of researches are often accompanied by statistical criteria of reliability of experimental researches on the average for a number of years. Thus, in such works there is no reference to the source of reception of this data. And discussion is as though conducted from positions of a classical dispersive method though authors of the given method have not the named approach. In represented work the stipulated problem is discussed on an example of three-year experimental data with maize (Zea mays) grown grain. In conclusion there was presented a logically substantiated summary. In course of the study there were presented and analysed statistical data maize yielding capacity in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the statistical parameters of reliability of a field experiment results in case of different methods of the realized calculations. Research results showed that no one of the presented methods of calculation on an average belief factor could be used for the analysis of studies. It was supposed that the value of an average minimal substantial difference index over a set of years should show the average annual index.
