At the present time invasion of alien species were admitted as a global ecological problem. In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the literary data on biology, ecology, harmfulness of a new quarantine tomato pest - tomato mining moth Tuta absoluta (Meyrisk). The losses caused by this plant pest were from 50 up to 100%. Injuriousness of Tuta absoluta and a probability of its possible population on the territory of Belarus proved to be very important and timely. The materials on foreign invasive pest incidence, pheromone traps use for number monitoring and mass catching, protective measures including the biological control with the entomophages and biological preparations and integrated protection methods use were presented. There was analyzed the necessity of realization of constant monitoring of the pest occurrence especially in the southern zone of the Republic in periods of with the high weather temperature. There was proposed a development of an integrated system with the maximal use of biological means.
