In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were studied indicators of grain quality of winter soft wheat (Triticum aestivum) samples from a control nursery of the second year and variety testing for competition. The samples were divided into groups according to the values of grain quality indicators. On the basis of established indicators of formation of high-quality grain at the level of valuable and strong varieties of wheat there were revealed resources of the examined variety samples and there was determined their usefulness for cultivation. As the result of the realized research it was revealed that in the conditions of north-east of the Republic of Belarus it is possible to create by selection method the forms of winter wheat which have the second group of quality, classified as valuable in State standard. It is important to notice, that under fibrin content the variety Priozernaya relate to strong wheat (protein content 12.7%, fibrin content 28.5%). The selection material with the improved indicators of grain quality was created. Among samples of control nursery 26.7% of their contained the second group fibrin. Varieties of winter soft wheat were studied and differentiated on grain quality.
